The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it really is alarmed in regards to the higher range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The provider issue produced for intervention activities a superior influx of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for your office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to empower the servicing of all prospects and increase entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
